What is wedi? 

At the heart of every patented wedi Building Board is a CFC-free, extruded polystyrene, rigid foam core. 
The foam is reinforced with outer layers, comprising a GRP textile and a polymer-modified cement. 

The resulting product is remarkably strong, inherently watertight, yet surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle. It also possesses excellent insulation properties and the cement finish is a great starting point for applying tiles. 

A wide range of tapes, sealants and fixings is available, allowing wedi to be fitted on to almost any substrate and making it suitable for almost any bathroom. And it can cut and trimmed to size, quickly and easily without specialist skills or tools.
